Thumbs up

I have 20 inch maya's on my car and would like to lower it. Which springs do you recommend? And how much of a drop?

M5 Springs
Eibach
H&R

Thanks!

the eibach pro-kit is what i went with and it drops the car 1.2" all around. i am more than happy with my eibach pro-kit. the eibach sportline drops the car 2" in the front and 1.2" in the rear. the H&R sports will drop the 530 1.4" in the front and 1.3" in the rear. the H&R race springs will drop the car 2" all around. for most people, it always ends up between eibach and H&R. H&R i heard is more of a sporty feel. if any help, here's the thread when i dropped my 530 with the eibach pro-kit: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...=eibach+pro-kit . good luck. post pics when finished too.

I know this will be an unpopular opinion but I have 167's on my 530 and I have no intention of lowering it. I like the way it looks as is. JMHO.

I just got 166's and I fully agree. I like the sports suspension height.

Depends how much you gap you want to get rid of. H&R sports with 20's will leave you 1 1/2 fingers in the rear and 1 in the front. The Eibach pro kit leaves about 2 in the rear and about 1 in the front. H&R Race is no fingers . Take a look at my gallery with H&R sports /20's Snikt1 has the Eiback sportline on 20's and I believe Fantastic 5 has the pro kit w/ 20's

I dunno about H&R coilovers. Hollywoodtrash is ditching his for H&R Sport springs. He's driven my car and said that the Sport springs aren't as harsh a ride as the coilovers.

I just received my H&R sport springs, will install tomorrow at SonicMS (formally CarLabs). I went with this after I saw vegastrash's car. Drop looks good.
