who all has lowered their e60?
if possible, please provide some before/after (either/or OR both) shots, as well as how much you lowered it, what kit you went with, and approximate price of kit. also .. do you have any issues clearance wise, alignment wise, and ride quality.
thanks guys,

wisz,
do a search on lowering, springs, or lowered, and you should come up with a lot of information.

My Ride: 530iA Silver Grey , black interior. Premium Package, Navigation System, Head-up Display, Radio Satellite, Adaptive Xenon Headlights. AC Schnitzer Front Lip, H&R springs, Rear red reflector, All season Floor mat,
I use H&R spring for my car. Paid about $240 for the spring.. but 4 hrs labor (WTF!?!?).. My car looks much better after that.. not really sure about the drops but i think it is about 1.3 inch front and 1.5inch rear..
However.. the ride quality is very bumpy.. I've heard that ACS sport spring is much better but of course is more pricey..

Here are the best pictures of before/after i could find.. I did the allignment after i changed my rims and not when i change the springs.. I'm not sure how much was it off but it's all good after the allignment, i brought my car to BMW for the allignment for $179. Hope this helps...

You get what you pay for. Go to ebay and get a used schnitzer suspension. Otherwise tough it out with the slightly bumpy ride you will receive with the H&R springs. Youll save 500$ at least going that route
