My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
I did it at my buddies house. I called Joe early in the morning and got some pointers, actually, lots of pointers. lolol
I had help from my bud. It takes more then one person to do the job with out the proper tools. I needed him to step on the rotor to push it down, I didn't have the tool on hand to hold the rotor downwards while moving the shocks out.

LOL same thing I had to do with my KSports, getting the stock shocks out is a PITA and you need someone standing on the rotor to get it down enough. The end result is well worth the extra work though

How the hell did you remove the front shocks form the rotor arm mount? I was trying to remove the shock and realised that i did not need to remove the shock to get to the spring. LOL

Oh that was way easier than the rears, first pull the shock down until you can clear the fender and angle it outward. Then spray copious amounts of WD40 on the shock shaft in the steering knuckle. Then one person twists and the other pries open the clamping part to get a little clearance and the shock slides right out.
