you should really use the search button, or do what i do, google 5series.net and whatever info your looking for after and itll search the site, but easier than the forums search feature, but ill break it down for you.

yes you can upgrade your e60 to a m5 one like i did. mine is with a replica m5 one, OEM m5 would require the m5 fenders which are a bit wider. also you'll loose the fog lights unless you get the replica one with the fog light kit. pretty much everything far as swap is straight forward, doing some searching on here youlll find guides to taking off the bumper and how to do any alignment if you have any gaps, and trimming the foam bumper part if you have to. please dont just buy any cheap kit you find on craigslist, more people complain about fitment and the little you save on a cheap brand you'll regret later.

places to get from, mine are from trinity, fit perfect. also umnitza have good reviews.

one thing to keep in mind since your starting out, is "better to do it right the first time, so you wont have to pay more to do it again"

M5tech bumpers have fogs.
M5tech are more aggressive.

i went with Umnitza for my m5tech conversion. check my posts i started Umnitza was great to me and their bumpers were good too.
m5 bumber vs m5tech
m5 bumper will look just like an m5 bumper except it will not be as wide as the oem one, like roskinc said you would need to change your fenders out as well. and you will loose the use of your foglights

m5tech, from umnitza, looks just like the m5 bumper i talked about above, EXCEPT it has foglights. I went with the m5tech because 1, its not a real m5 and 2. i liked the foglights. I opted for the upgrade and purchased their projector housings and put it into my m5tech front end and bought the HID kit from them as well. it looked sick at night, but super bright! =) I only drove around at night with my angel eyes and my fogs. good luck!

Check out Umnitza's feedback in the "buyer/seller feedback" section, then contact TrinityAutopsort for your front bumper in your price range.

Orion V4's installed as well, but they are throwing a left & right head lamp code whenever I turn on my lights, anyone know of a fix for this?
Thanks guys.
