Wheels will visually make the biggest difference. Depends on what you want out of modding. I've just done tint at this point also and have finally figured out that i'll buy 166's (M5 wheels)

+1

I would also start with the Rims first, then move on to spoilers / m-sport pack etc.

Not sure if there are many 535i remaps available yet -- maybe worth waiting until there are more out in the market and there are some reports on quality / reliablility?

1. tint (which you have done)
2. wheels and lowering springs or coilovers
3. body kit and spoilers
4. exhaust

might as well do it all at the same time, you WILL do them all sooner or later, even if you don't want to

LOL oh so true -- that's why I told my dealer to put 19" winter rims straight away and forget about the standard factory rims! (...now only 3 days to go until delivery )

Just make sure you know about the wheel situation with the "xi". You can't get M5 (166), M6 (167) or 172 wheels for that car. Since the offset is different than the standard RWD cars, we require certain wheels with certain offsets. Look into 3 series wheels, if you want to upgrade. The 3 series has the closest offset to the E60 xi models. Good luck with your mods.

Great point. But there is something to be said about doing it one at a time as it'll give you something new to admire about your car every now and then. On the other hand, you might just feel your car is incomplete so you'll end up rushing to the next mod anyway. hahaha

Modding is a love/hate thing.
