Default looking to get my 525d remapped (advise needed)

Hi guys, this is my first post here. I bought a 525D M Sport a couple of days ago and naturally the correct thing to do would be to remap it first :-) I hope you all agree.

My issue is, there are so many people out there providing remaps and so many varying prices.

Can anyone recommend someone to me who are reliable and trustworthy (preferably South Wales)?

Also I have noticed varying figures in what power/torque I can expect after the remap.

What do you guys think is achievable from a remap 2.5d (177ps) stock.

Your help will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Andy

Thanks for that, I heard from other forums that this is the man for the job, that has just made my mind up.

Thanks

He did my 330d a few years ago and I was impressed with his work. It takes about a 45mins to an hour and can be done anywhere he has a phone/data signal. He is a friendly sort too, very approachable.

before you take the guy everyone is advertising , please check out the pm i sent you, i had my 530d remapped to 286 bhp in bristol which is "minutes" from where you are by a very dedicated guy called Steve, i watched him do the remap, it wasn't a "template" file applied to my ecu, he took out my ecu completely, read it with his own custom kit, which he designed (patent pending), did all the output graphs for me to see and everything and re-map took another 2 hrs, but my 0-60 is less than 6 secs ~5.4 on a good day on a 3.0 diesel!

Just giving you options...

p.s. this guy (Steve) used to work for rolls royce engines, fancy mechanical eng. uni degree, blablabla...so when it comes to engine performance and outputs, it was also an academic session for me as well, besides paying for bhp upgrade, the car got a full once over as he was reading everything - remap@hdi-tuning.co.uk
