My Ride: 2008 528 XI , debadged, roof spoiler, trunk lip spoiler, 19" Mirro M6 wheels
Default

I have a 2008 528XI without the sport package and i would love to find a couple of small trim pieces that i think will make a big difference the first is body color matching plates to cover the orange reflectors on the front fenders over the wheel wells and the second item is the two red reflectors in the rear bumper, i would love to find some body matching inlays or cover plates for those, it seems the older models all had these and now red plastic... whats up with that? One last thing is i would like a cover plate to remove the key hole from the drivers door.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I checked ebay and cant find any of the above.....

Those slots in the rear were always meant for reflectors. The older models had them due to US regulations barring reflectors in that area.....but regulations have changed, so now there's no need for the "filler" piece. Some people still prefer the painted inserts, however. In your case, though, it might make "those who know" think your car is 2007 or older, from behind...without looking at anything else.

You will have to pain the reflectors in front to get the effect you are going for.

That blows! I hate those reflectors! Does anyone know of a front lip that will mount to the stock non sport bumper other than the Alpina?

Just replace the whole front bumper with the Umnitza M5 rep...Your problem with the reflector will also be solved with this, not to mention that it's sick looking!

Member Juris335 painted his front LCI reflectors. You easily could pull the fronts and rears and have them painted.
