Whenever someone pasts "Look what I just picked up" or something like that, am I the only one waiting for a picture of a hot girl? Or at least a skank?

honestly im not worried, people said the same thing about rotas when one of their wheels did the same thing, I rocked rotas on my wrx for 2 years and pushed it hard without any issues

cast wheels are cast wheels as long as they meel the same JWL specs etc

I would still go Linea Corse LeMans. They are made by the same manufacturer as Rotas I think and are proven wheels. I don't see how the Chikaras could look more like LM's when the Linea Corse's look identical already. I picked up my LeMans for $1,100 for my E46 M3 so still a great deal. Those Chikaras do look nice, but doing a google search I didn't find much on them. Search Linea Corse on the m3forums and behold!

All in all good pickup and I love LM reps. The spacers will make them look beautiful!

I would definitely be concerned about any reps that you buy.. especially these chikara ; looks like catastrophic failure of the wheel to me:

When it comes to something so integral to your safety (such as wheels), don't go the replica route. IMHO
Ooch!
It shatters when you're driving hard?

I remember people posting some replica wheels like the ones above in a thread before to show how much they "suck". Someone found the rest of the pictures and the car got really messed up to the point where no wheel would have survived heh. So far threads like these hold Linea Corse in high regard!

Or maybe because where I live there are no potholes...

ive read the entire thread about that accident and it wasnt due to the wheels, it was raining the guy had summer tires on and was driving very fast and spun out and hit a wall

the chikara wheels meet JWL certifications so stop shitting on them.

Oops I read my post over again and realized I made it sound like the wheel caused the accident. I meant that the OP in that thread (I think it was on the s2000 forums about Rotas) got owned in the respect that the car accident damaged the wheel as opposed to the wheel causing the accident. It was pretty funny, everyone started saying how reps are horrible and this is why you don't want to use them. Then someone posted up 3 other pictures and told the story then the thread got fun .

Honestly I'm all for reps since I think spending more on wheels than a lot of people spend on their entire car is kind of crazy. Albeit for a nice set of authentic LM's and twice my salary, I wouldn't hesitate. As long as people don't pose them as the real deal with a ton of Volk stickers on them (for example) they're all good. However, I'll give the OP the ok for BBS caps if they're red since I think those look really good and no other caps are red unless you get something custom.
