My Ride: In a place where the Mercedes density is the highest in the world (no. of MB per square kilometer) I choose a Bimmer, why? because of one thing "The Ultimate Driving Experience"

Forget about lighted I-Drive and lighted amber illuminated door sills. They are not available for E60 at least. 
The illuminated I-drive in the picture was just a test specimen presented on the Frankfurter autoshaw but never came to the production model.

I was thinking if enough of us wanted a lighted controller like in that pic, maybe we could get someone to make them for us and if we ordered a bunch maybe we could get a deal on them. Just a crazy idea.

Its not a modification. Its the controller from BMW Executive. They are only available in Germany as an Executive upgrade. Do a search, there was some information and part numbers in a thread about a year ago.
