IMHO i have gone through every possible setup even trinitys and i end up with problems, error codes, and the ebay ones which are the same people on the link you posted lasted me less then a month till they went out. That's why i sat down and designed a solution for OEM LEDs which is the best route and only route for top of the line brightness, quality and abosultely no error codes (of course with the proper harness). I sent out a few to LCIs and they told me they worked awsome! I had to stop the sale because they take so much time to built and the cost of the materials is very high for the price i was offering, i didnt think i was going to have so many members interested.

Update: ~$25 Jlevi SW Xenon White LED License Plate Lights *V2 High Output. No error Codes. There is a certain way to insert these bulbs so you don't get error codes(for me: JL logo facing me on driver side, away from me on passenger side)
