I just got my LED plate lamps and LED reverse lights from Brabusw. Put them in and they look great and simple to install. I spoke to John about this and Im not going behind his back but just wanted some imput from members. I notice just about everyone has LED plate lights and not so many with reverse lights. The resistors get a tad hot when car is in reverse and lights are on. Does this concern anyone and thats why no so many of you have done it? OR is it because its a MOD thats no so noticable? Either way mad props to John. Hes professional and very available, couldnt recommend his gear more or his services. Thankyou mucho sir. Pics will follow

I have the LED reverse lights mod and I love the way it looks.

Some members have been reticent to do that mod because it involves removing the tails and it used to involve punching holes in a sockey (but not longer due to a new way of doing the mod). Also, given that the mod is only noticable during those brief periods when the car is in reverse, some members may not find it so necessary.

I am very happy with mine. Yes, the resistors will heat up when the reverse lights are on but, as a percentage of the car's usage, the reverse lights are not on much.

It is a matter of personal taste. It looks great and is not that expensive. John's price for this mod is so low given the big amount of labor and time that he has to do to do it is a bit shocking. I think that he does this mod more out of goodwill to members than anything else.

The reverse only stays on for a minute, tops. The heat issue shouldn't be a concern. Just careful when you are doing a light show for people.

The resistors DO get hot. But as long as you do not lay the resistor onto wires, you are fine. Many people are reluctant because they think it's hard to install and it turns on for a few seconds so they don't want to spend $65 for them. Install is not as hard as one thinks. I rate this a medium. You just need patience for this install.

Now take some pix!

Thanks Scott and Dave!
