just saw that, your's are 24mm, mine are 28mm diameter > do you think they'll fit or am I screwed ?
the wedge ones are t13. do they throw any errors or not ? cause there's no way a resistor will fit behind...

The bulbs might not fit.. you can try and see.. 4mm might be a snug fit.
THe wedges didnt give an error message. =) no need for resistor.

At least I know the next size down in case mine don't fit.
Hey, your side wedge leds are huge - 31 leds !! - maybe my 6 led may prove to weak during daylight...

Most likely that will work. the resistor i used for the turn signal.
I'm going to try to figure out how to do that soon on the car too.

Just be careful with the strobing with all these replacement LEDs. If its only on the initial start-up then that no issue at all, its the strobe once every 5 mins that may confuse other drivers out there.
And only add resistors if you absolutely need it for the iDrive error. Don't assume if one side needs a resistor the other side will need it as well. And finally these resistors get very very hot so try and put them either on a metal back or somewhere safe.

Yes, my strobing only occurs in the initial start up.
Also the resistors are needed cause of the idrive error. Since they are only blinkers and are not constantly on, like taillights, or license plate lights, the turn signal resistors can stay attached to the zip tie like how I did it.
Thanks for the tips Bruce. =)

It was a tight fit, but with some jiggling the front LEDs went in. The wedge LEDs' diameter is 1mm to big to fit into the socket of the clear plastic glass socket, so no go there.
Also rear plates LED looks good !
Thanks for the blueprints on the resistor/socket !

awesome, where's the pics and the youtube video? hehe
I used the large resistors pictured above - I see you used the small ones...no problems with getting too hot ?
oh, I ordered the smaller wedge W5W for the side indicators ( 4 leds) with 11mm diameter > these should fit but not sure if they will be strong enough...
