Guys,
I am about to pull the trigger on a leather interior on my 2005 E60.
I was wondering if LCI seats will fit (I guess the door cards don't) but what about the seats?
And will an pre-LCI E61 interior fit my E60?
On both options I will go for the normal semi-auto seats, since a comfort seat will surely give me installation headache
Sorry if already posted somewhere, but the search option gave me no answers...

Peter, Just thinking on this one.. Have you considered having leather pulled on you current seats? I guess it is not cheap either, but might be an option.

Haha, Flat Eric rules!!
@mr, I think that would cost almost the same. but I will look into it... Maybe I can have a custom color...
But there are a lot of LCI interiors for sale as well as pre LCI E61 interiors.
So still the question, will any of these fit?

I can confirm that the LCI semi auto M Sport interior fits pre-LCI cars, as I have done this already on mine. Including the centre console, door cards, glove box etc.
There are a a no. of things to keep in mind though:
1) Remember to disconnect the battery before attempting it, as the airbag light will come on.
2) Remember to use your original seat module with the new LCI seats so the car recognises and excepts the seats. The electrics will work fine.
3) You will have to replace the seat belts as well to the new LCI ones within the pillars for complete fit. The Pre-LCI ones don't fit the LCI seats.
4) Also be careful with the seatbelt tensioner wire. It is quite sensitive. and can break, again giving the airbag light. It did on mine and I had to find the original seat belt tensioner before the light would go away.
All in all, quite straight forwards. Took me roughly 5 hours and 2 off us did it. But well worth it, the door cards are especially stylish and classy compared to the pre-LCI ones.

Cool!! Thanx you...
... Now to decide which color.
Was thinking black ( mostly for resale value) or a dark red, like terracota...

Yeah, this company is well known (also for their high prices)...they have high amounts of interiors, but as said, many E61 and LCI ones, hence my questions about fitment..
...thanx for the tip though!
