Hey guys, last week John and the guys at Motorcepts helped to change the face/butt of my car a little. I think of it as "under the radar" plastic surgery. Anyway, I got LCI headlights (LCI halogen with HID kit) and LCI tails courtesy of Lambda28 (thanks dude) as well as MTEC v3 for the angel eyes and non-amber side and corner indicator bulbs. My question for you folks is this... Why do stock LCI angel eyes and tails look wayyy brighter than what I have going on. You can barely see the taillight rods (angel wings) during the day and the same goes for the angel eyes. Any thoughts? I was driving back from Philadelphia today and there was another alpine white E60 but it was an LCI and I know for a fact my angels and tails are not nearly as bright as his...

Pictures of my facelifted car with CIC retrofit to come status-post wheel replacement/car wash/finding time.

Danke.

it depends how the lights were wired. did you have new plug ends installed? reprogram light control module?

No LCM ... As for the plug ends... no idea. What can be done to change the lighting issues?

Are you comparing to LCI xenons? LCI xenons aren't particularly good, but halogens are even worse. As for the tails, it really shouldn't be any different. How were your tails retrofitted?

Bruce v6 cables for the tails. I guess I'm just comparing to all the LCi 5ers I see on the road. At the most basic complaint level, I see theirs and I know they can't see mine.

Realistically, picture probably won't help much unless he has another one that he deems to be brighter in the same shot as well.

Hey guys I'm working on the photo thing. Been trying to get a hold of my neighbor because his brother has an LCI 5er. Hopefully he can come through.

I know you've done the pre-LCI to LCI halogen conversion... are your angels visible during the day?
