Holy Sheet! If you're considering Eugene Brows, consider it safe on pre-LCI e60's. If you have LCI, your sanity may be put to the test. I consider myself pretty mechanical, and back in my Air Force days soldered plenty of solid state and chips onto circuit boards, but tonight I failed. First off, the cutting on LCI does not match the Eugenes pre pre-LCI pictures. The top cut matches Eugene's pictures and cuts pretty fast. I used a torch to heat the tip of a modeling knife and it cut like butter and made a nice clean line. You need to make a bottom cut as well just below the connector.

Once you make the cuts, the circuit board is attached to the inside of the light housing, not the plastic piece like in Eugene's pictures. The circuit board has been updated with tiny micro LED's. The LED's are no bigger than 1/8" square and the leads are tight against the housing. I ordered the LED's specified in the Eugene Brow thread... Those LED's are four to six times the size of the LCI. Tiny fragments of black plastic cuttings got in between the clear plastic and the silver finish inside the housing. In f_cking possible to get out. I used a vacuum to suck out what I could, put the circuit board back in, sealed it up, and put it back together. No EugeneBrows for me!!!

The cut shads inside the light are going to drive me crazy... Before I call the parts department on Monday, does anyone have any idea how much one LCI light is going to cost?

My recommendation on Eugene Brows on an LCI car... Don't do it.

This is a risky idea, but if you use a small amount of purified water you may be able to flush out the plastic pieces.
Take out the bulbs and electronics obviously, but thats the best I can come up with; it is what I would do.

If you decide to straight up replace the headlight, keep searching eBay. The advantage you have is you only need the housing, a lot of people sell just one side minus the electronics for much cheaper than anywhere.

If you do replace it, please PM because I would like to buy the old housing off of you for some experiments.

Sorry to hear this didn't work out, it takes a lot of balls to get into this, if you happen to open it up again could you post some pictures of what you saw?

Compressed air actually made it worse. No outlet for debris. The gap between the clear and the silver background is too narrow... Paper thin. Anyone that looks close will see the specs, but it's not noticeable unless you intentionally walk up and look at the headlight.

Sorry to hear the Eugene brows didn't work out for you. I have the same problems with the shavings in mine too. At first it annoyed me. But in time, you tend to forget it. It is what it is. I'm probably going to tint the eyebrow part like C's Bimmer. I plan to tint it smoke or a light shade of mirror tints.

Mike (Nigxdoof) got his out using a high powered vaccum. PM him and get some pointers. I would suggest a small tube fitted to a vaccum cleaner, plug all the holes except 2. One for the vaccum cleaner and the other one with the straw of a compressed air canister. Spray and suck.

Also don't forget to seal it good. Several members got moisture in there. I used the hot glue, then silicone. No moisture.

Sorry I didn't take pictures... Perfect opportunity, but then I was pissed, too pissed to think about pictures.

Sorry to hear that happen man. Hopefully you can figure out maybe how to complete it.

I used a vacuum to get the little pieces out with a small tube to get the hard to reach places.

And yes, I had trouble sealing it and getting moisture. Use silicone. I ripped out all the glue because it kept getting damp.
