Im in the final stages of a very good CIC upgrade.
As part of that I've upgraded to the LCI control panel for climate.

It was installed properly and there is no running fan issue.
But I have a problem:

I can't get hot air to come out of the middle (dash) vents, only cold.
Both the floor and window vents are both responding to different temperature requests and do both hot and cold.
But the middle vents are cold only!
The speed and flow of cold changes on the middle. But the mix of hot air that is supposed to be there doesn't show up.

Anyone know what this could be and how I can fix it?

We had to do the jumper splice on the lci climate panel to get it to work properly, could that be the problem?

So Ive been playing with this for a couple days & I havent made any improvement.
Ive removed the wood panel & vents, & I can see the actual action of the up & down doors at the back of the dash AC vent area that controls which air goes where...
But I havent been able to improve air behavior.

This is a mod from pre LCI to LCI A/C controller with all proper wiring/splicing needed.

Anyone heard of this issue or similar?

Hi there maddog. Please check my pm. The air from the middle vents can be adjusted by the idrive controler!
Have fun with the retrofit

you know I have never approved of the climate control panel change. But.

Have you made sure that the panel has been programmed and coded correctly. Has the CIC been coded for the new panel.

Bruce, you da man.

While working with Patryk & his team I specified this, but I will double check with him tonight.

Would I be able to troubleshoot this by switching back to my old pre lci climate control & have that work (thus eliminating any posssible issue of it being something other than the controller), or since Ive coded it to LCI do I need to just figure this out?

You need to make sure that the LCI panel is not just coded but also programmed to the highest level possible before coding.
