Im debating between variant 2 or variant 3. I know variant 3 has compression settings and some sort of independently functioning damping power adjustment.
Apart from those, any other diff between 2 and 3?
Or the key question is, should I spend the extra $250 for variant 3?
Thanks

I just noticed that the part# for the KW's are the same regardless of which 5 series. 525,530,550. They all use the same part.
Wouldnt a heavier car have different spring rates etc?
Thanks

Honestly, unless you are a serious track junky, I don't see the reason for the V3 system. The V2s offer all of the adjustment you need to dial in a comfortable or sporty ride as well as the correct ride height. I did V2s on my 135 and haven't looked back.

I saw the 335 project car in the May issue of Bimmer magazine - pretty cool!
