Hey guys,
about a year ago I bought a set of KW V2's from John (Macfly), anyway, after the first install, the rears were too "soft", then I took it back to be adjusted and the car is much tighter.
My problem is the rears, every time I go over say a speed bump, front wheels go over, all good nice tight quick low (tight) bounce, now, rear wheels go over the same bump and my car bounces like 4-5 TIMES!!!
I think the V2's have like 10 adjustments, I believe both my front and rear wheels are on the same adjustment.
Why is it that my rear suspension bounces so much more and downright feel a lot SOFTER than my front suspension?
I have a standard 2004 530i.
What do u guys suggest?

I havent had any experience with these E60 suspensions or these coilovers much less but you have to think how much weight difference there is from front to back, if both settings are set the same and the front "absorbs" the weight of the front end bounce and the rear "bounces" with the same force and no weight its going to of course be ruff...like posted above I think Id try to run a little stiffer in the back and see how that goes...

I have the KW adjusting tool, but do I need to lift my car and stuff?
I have tried looking for a guide on how to adjust it myself, but I haven't come across one...

I should adjust the REBOUND or BUMP?
It says
"Main rebound adjusting principles:
Low rebound provides a comfortable ride at low speeds, but decreases stability at higher speeds, especially
on the front. Also, too much rebound will cost grip.
Rear and four wheel driven cars: Will be driven in most cases with low rebound, even when equipped with
very hard springs, more forces are required."

And the people at the shop were as clueless as me .
They actually told me I need to take the wheels off and uninstall the whole spring in order to adjust the rebound
How do I get to the top of the coilover?
