The day I've been waiting for... !
Got the brand new coilover set installed today. I know we Finnish members are just a few here, but I still want to thank JP-Autotuning for the job well done and superior customer service and relations. Just a tip for Finnish members .

So, my story: I wondered the lowering thing for ages. I had a non-sport suspension, and the car looked a bit wobbly, but was practical in everyday use. However, I knew the time would come some time, and decided to chart out the possible choices. I ended up with Eibach Pro-Kit & Koni's, OEM M-sport chassis and this KW Street Comfort coilover set. After some inquiries about prices, the choice was made: KW.

I ordered the set about a month ago and the install was scheduled on the 22nd, today. JP-Autotuning locates in Siilinj?rvi, about 150kms from my hometown Kajaani. I woke up early this morning to make it, because of awful weather. I made it on time.

Two guys started working at 9am, and it took 2,5 hours + alignment 30 mins. They really knew what they were doing!
We lowered the car about an inch, and the wheel gap is now approx. 3 cm (1,18") all around. It might settle down a bit of course...

I drove back and the weather was just crap. Lots of wet snow kept coming. But it was a great opportunity to see/feel how the "Street Comfort" would work, because ALL streets in town were like potato patches .
And what can I say? It's like stock . A bit stiffer, but still very comfort. I couldn't do any cornering because of the murdering weather, but I will get back with it.

I have to get the car inspected tomorrow, and because spacers are prohibited here in Finland, I left them out for now. And the wheels look so sucked inside now that I didn't take any pictures yet. Sorry ! Besided, the car is dirty as h*ll!

Congrats on the KW's, it's a Mod I'm considering too! Post pix as soon as weather, spacers and a wash have been accomplished!

Very nice and thanks for the review! I've only heard good things about the KW comfort kits as well.

I'm really confused here. I have an H&R sport spring kit and Koni Sport shocks/struts as well. Whats this "KW" thing he is talking about and coilovers when he already has Eibach's and Koni's? My car rides like complete shit over bumps.

No I don't have Eibach & Koni's. Or didn't have either. That was just an option. My car was stock non-sport.
KW is a German brand that makes springs, struts and coilover sets.

Here you go: KW Coilovers

Yeah, I know the "rules" ... Sorry fellows.
I'm just so thrilled about this I couldn't wait.
I think I'll wash the car tomorrow evening and post pics after.

To you people who are thinking about KW coilover set and wishing a "soft" ride, I think you really should consider between V2 and Street Comfort. I bet V2 is a cracking product, no noubt. But you can adjust rebound damping in Street Comfort too. Just my 2 cents ...
KW Street Comfort.
