I have bought a Koni sport kit, and would like to have your opinion regard to settings.
Before installing the rear dampers I would have to decide an appropriate stiffness setting. (To avoid having to dis-assemble the suspension an extra turn for adjustments)
You who ride with Konis, what settings on the dampers do you prefer?
If rating the setting, from soft 1-4 hard, what would be the best compromize?
I use the the car, more or less only traveling on rough highways. ~200km per day.
And because of that, losing to much of comfort is not an option.
It would be nice if you could tell what setting you have, both in front and rear.

I have fronts one full turn away from full hard, works great with 40,35 series tires!. As for full soft cant go wrong in front. As for the rears maybe 1 full turn away from full soft if that makes sense, its not too soft but its on the firmer side. I forgot what my rears were at. Tire racks results were on full soft all the way around from box to install no adjustment.

I originally had my rears at full soft and wished I had them stiffer. Had to take them off to fix a problem (installer used the wrong washer on the top of the struts and one side pulled through the mount). When I had them off I went to about 50% and like it better. I have the fronts about the same as 525iEnjoy.
I like the ride better than stock sport package which to me felt like it was floating too much. Roads in SE Michigan are as bad as anywhere in the world and it is still extremely comfortable!

Thanks for reply.
Rear would be somewhat between 25-50% then (100% maximum stiffness)
Front about 75%. But is front really easily adjusted?
Seems to me that there is a plastic cover in the way for adjusting!?
I think I will go for new top mounts (Guide supports) while at it. Did you also get those new?

I'll go to my car and snap you a photo! The fronts are simple.
On Koni's you have about 2 full turns between Firm and Soft, you're installer should know how to set the rears if not the instructions are well detailed and you can ask their advice or tell them what you want the firmness at.
