My Ride: Black 2006 BMW 530i with sport and prem package, staggered 124 wheels, 50% tint, AC Schnitzer aluminum pedals, black interior w/ alum trim set, M style body kit and sound upgrade: Alpine PDX-5, PXE-H660, sub, MBQuart speakers.
I have the black matte kidney grills and tomorrow I'm having the front bumper replaced/painted.
I'm wondering whether I should tell them to prime and paint the kidney grills the same color as the car (glossy jet black). Would they look better that way, or in the original black matte?

you can have them paint just the outer part of the grills and leave the inner slats in matte black. personally in my opinion Id prefer either that or leaving them in full matte black.

Ok I decided to leave them matte black.
By the way, the bumper and side skirts did fit perfectly, even better than OEM, not even a small tweak was necessary. Thanks Nerwyll, let me know when you get the rear bumper!
