I have the carbon fiber ones from Bav Auto (I think). I'd either go with that or basic black from an auto parts store. If black doesn't go with your car color, I would go with no plate frame.

I hate the people that have no front license plate, and they decided to put the roundel plate up front in a BMW plate frame. It looks ghey.
