I'm considering the K40 Calibre w/ front & rear laser defuser for my car, the unit cost 4X compared V1 but are basically stealth after installation (i.e. no unit on winshield, uses BlueTooth technology for clean installation, etc.)... Anyone has experience with this unit? More information here: http://www.k40.com/cali_main.html
Thanks in advance!

I decided on the Escort SRX instead. Has the same features, and is stealth as well. Has saved my bacon many times.
If you do decide to go the SRX route, you may want to put the rear laser jammer on the front instead (which I did). That way you have the two jammers on the side, and one in the middle under the license plate. 95% of the time you'll get hit from the front, not the rear. It could happen, but it's unlikely.

I don't know much about the K40 but there was an article in European Car magazine testing some high end radar/laser detectors/jammers and they said the V1 combined with the Blinder Extreme M40 is THE BEST protection.

Laser Interceptor did really well too, but I don't know if that is in actual production yet, and if it is, how easy it is to get - you may want to Google it.
Also, take a look at this: http://www.guysoflidar.com/march-200...mmer-test.html

My cousin has the K40 in his S55 AMG and I hate it. It constantly goes off and it's not nearly as efficient as the arrows on the V1.
Van - You should put the V1 arrows in your rear view mirror like some members have done. It looks great and works like a charm. A lot of the M5 guys here on the east coast have the M40 Blinder and love it. I think ECF is right. Combine the V1 with the Blinder and you are set.

Thanks for the input guys
I think the V1 and Blinder combo is the way to go.
