Is anyone using K&n drop in replacement in their diesel e60? I am contemplating one for my 535, not sure if I should bother. Doubt there will be any real hp gains. Maybe more induction noise and smoother engine run at higher revs. Please share your expreriences.

i asked this same question to my tuning shop. He advised against it. It will even make the car slower. Just replace your oem air filter sooner then normal. Every 20.000 kilometers in stead of the normal 50.000 km

any airsystem on a diesel 5 E6O is a waste of money he says.
