did someone say wires my six has coil packs so no wires right. I would change the cabin filters and the air filter, and Oil I don't quite believe in those long oil service intervals I do it every 7500 at the most

Well the OP asked the question and I answered it! Technically, the spark plugs are to be change at 100K miles according to BMW, and he is doing it at 50K? So this leads me to believe the OP is trying to maintain more frequently for the longevity of his car. Which is why I asked if his question was based on miles and not directly related to the spark plugs project. So maybe these guides will get him and you where he need to be.
I see your point! A bit overkill IMO but it definately won't hurt anything.

also does the amount of years count also,, even though my car is 50,000 miles its also an '05.. which means those spark plugs are 5yrs old... can that play a part on replacement also?

You are correct in counting years as well, typically when it comes to routine maint, its miles or years, whichever comes 1st.
As JerseyGeorge said some of the items in the two maintenance guides I provided may be overkill, but really in the end its up to you to decide, but definitely dont follow BMW's recommended schedule. If anything split the difference between the guides and BMWs. That would put you at say 75% of manufacturers recommendation.
