Before changing from 17" Run-flat to 19" non-Run-flat, I actually felt the latter better in noise and somewhat the ride! (Could be changing the shocks and spring etc at the same time but still...)

Please let me know!

Thanks.
Actually having had 2 different sets of 19's (OEM 125 and 172) and now 20's I can't say that there is a huge difference in ride comfort. I do have improved handling because of the insanely wide rears, but other than that nope. Maybe it's because the 19's I used to have and the 20's I currently have use the same tires (Falken 452)? So the road noise and feel are almost identical.

depends on where you live. 20's in NY suck 20's in Cali are a given. Love the F-14s btw. I like the 19's personally because I don't have to drive around in fear. I blew out 2 tires at once coming off the Throgs Neck when I had the 525 and that was when I went down to 19's and the same reason I kept the 166's on my M5. If I lived someplace with decent roads I'd have those sweet azz forgiato's or some LM's

+1. That is also why I roll on 19s in the summer and 18s in the winter. I'd love 20s. But not when living in NYC. To me, the main issue with big wheels on potholes streets isn't as much the danger to the wheel but the danger to the tire. Bigger wheels mean lower profile tires. The shorter the sidewall, the less pothole protection.
