My Ride: 2008 528i: Alpine White/Creme Dakota Leather/Bamboo Anthracite Wood Trim; Premium pkg, Ipod USB (6FL), Xenons, sunroof, Eibach pro-kit 1.2" drop all around, limo tint all around. LED license plate festoons.
Soon to come: M6 replica 19" rims, Angel Eyes mod, fog light mod.
well i just installed my GP thunder bulbs for my AE's and i must say im a bit scared. i did one side then compared it to the OEM AE and the gp thunder looked soooo weak one halo was lit and the other one barely showed. is it maybe cuz its 2pm and theres light out? should i wait till nite b4 freaking out? i got the "plasmic white" 8500k bulbs if anyone has any feedback to comfort me till night at least thatll help thanks
oh and PS it took me 2mins u dont even have to take the headlight out!

They all look pretty weak in the daylight...wait till night!
GP Thunder's are supposed to be brighter in the daylight than the AIB's, however. You couldn't even tell my AIB's were on during the daytime in my old xi.

I feel the same way about my GP's. The inner halo is bright, but the outer is barely noticeable in the daylight. It's a different story as the sun begins to go down however.

Mine look so bright during the day too. Not sure what you guys are talking about. You can't stand right up to the front of the car. Here are 2 things you have to consider:
1. These are white lights, not amber, so the contrast during day light will be less.
2. Stand a ways back during the day and then stare at your GP Thunders.
They are great. They make the AIB's look pathetic.
