On friday, I received V3 Angeleye upgrades. The light is so white its amazing. It matches the white of the Xenons well.

However, the hibeam, and in my case the DRL (which is the same bulb) looks real yellow in comparison.

Does anyone know where I can get whiter (halogen?) hibeam/DRL lamps?

The 1st pic shows the new light on the passenger side and the stock angeleye in the drivers side.
The next pics show the new lights in both sides. The last pic show the new light inserted in the housing.

Sounds like you are really enjoying them!

If anyone is interested in the iBright and has any questions, don't hesitate to give us a call at (800)6200-BMW or most questions can be answered on the website. We are still honoring the $259 special pricing

Some people have removed their headlights to get to the access area behind the headlight. Removing the headlight isn't that difficult but I wanted to attempt this without headlight removal. The best way to do that is to remove the metal brace just above the radiator that blocks the access a bit. All you need is a torx driver, I believe its a size 20 or 25. There are ten to twelve torx screws to remove and you take the panel and place it on top of your engine (I think you can see it in one of my pictures)

You simply twist and remove the high beam bulbs to gain access to the orange stock angel eye bulb. You use a pliers to twist out the orange bulb. I think this is the most difficult part cause you can't grip the bulb well. I know there is a recommendation to get a long needle nose pliers but I did it with a standard one. You just need to twist it a bit and its loose.

The new bulb is inserted by feel and once its set in place you use a plyers to softly turn it and lock it down. The 1st side took me maybe 15 minutes and the second 10 minutes. The metal brace takes mayber 10 minutes to remove.

Once its back together there is no evidence you have done anything to the car.

Definately a mod I would recommend. The white angeleye light goes real good with the white Xenons.
