Just Installed Angel i Brights - daytime Pics!!!
#1
Hey All!
Just thought I'd pass along some pics of my new i Brights - I'm pretty happy with them. Deffo brighter than the stock AE's and they sure have turned some heads.
Daytime brightness is good (not as bright as the new LCI's of course) but great for what it is. The pic's distort a bit, but the rings are clean white circles and match the HID's perfectly!
There is about 4seconds of "flickering" on car start up while the computer checks the lights but that's it... they run bright and full with no odd light loss from a side angle.
Installation was a learning curve (no headlight removal) taking a total of about 90mins. - The freakin' Pass/DRL's were actually harder to get clipped back in than the AE's!!
I know $299 is a lot - but i think you get what you pay for... I'm surprised that in full daytime sun I can actually see the reflection of my AE's off the back end of a car in front of me at a stop - cool!
So here's some pics: (before and after - all in daytime - 'cause we've all seen how cool they look at dusk and at night - so nothing new there )
Stock AE's Day
NEW i Brights (just a bit later in the day - note the shadows - but still WAY better!!!)
Here's a good close up comparison in full sun:

...SWEET!

Looks good!
I also have the AiB's on my car. The flickering when you turn on the lights looks like your car has a startup sequence, it happens to me also. I only just realized the side markers flicker as well. How's your radio reception when the lights are on? I get a fair amount of static interference, and I have AiB v3 which states "NO RADIO INTERFERENCE" I tested it by tuning to a radio station for example in NY 87.7 and then turning the lights on you hear the static kick in.
