My Ride: 2005 530i...just bought so in progress...dont know where to start???
Want to do:
LCI Tails, Xenon Headlights, Tints, Wheels, Trunk and Roof Spoiler, iPod Adapter...the list goes on.
hey guys...a buddy of mine just gave me his wheels off his 07 328xi...he traded it in and took his wheels he had off it and gave them to me for my 05 E60...non xi model. they look like the 166's but they are 18's and chrome...could they be M3 wheels or something like that?? they looked real nice on his 3 series...
i am hoping that they fit right on my car...am i wishing for too much??? please let me know if i need to do anything before i go to my girlfriends fathers shop and try to put them on only to be disappointed...

you will need some pretty substantial spacers to make those work. I used to have a 2003 325xi and I was going to take my 19's from that car and put them on the e60 but the offsets on the e60 are far more aggressive then the e46.

GREAT...now im pissed..haha...what u think i could get for them?? 18x8 im guessing with pirelli asymmetrico tires 225/40/17...wheels have about 15,000 miles on them...ill take pics tomorrow..im thinking 1,000??? who knows

sorry they are 225/40/18...it was like 3am when i posted that...little zonked...but oh well looks like im taking pics and posting up on craigslist and ebay...this sucks!

im on long island, NY...i wud be happy to ship them to you..ill take pics later today and post them up..they are chrome but i think are aftermarket cuz it looks like they have seen better days...but still very nice and tires only have 15,000 miles..winter wheels??

Will the 3 series wheels fit on a E60 xi model? I remember reading somewhere when Doc or C were explaining offsets that the offsets on the 3 series were similar to the 5 series (xi model)
