Just brought her home. 550i in Jet Black. Kind of bought the car on a whim but so far I'm loving it



What should be my first mod?

My Ride: E60 M5 Silverstone/black/alum mods: 20" Vellano wheels, H&R spring, SS x-pipe + SS Race exhaust, hardwired V1 E60 530i - sport package, bluetooth mods: M-tech full kit, OEM M5 side mirrors, Hella smoked tail light, Formula One Classic tint 50% all around

First mods, depends... haha
Spring, body kit, wheels, etc. etc. etc. the more you dig into this forum, the longer the list you have

Welcome and congrats!!

Below are some suggestions:

1. Start by removing the charcoal filter. Here are the instructions from Lomag: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=21796
Order a K&N Filter from autoanything.com or get the Dinan Cold Air Intake (www.dinancars.com)
2. Exhaust system - depending whether you like more sound out of your V8, you can look into dual exhaust or quad exhausts (ie RDSport, Hamman, etc..)
3. M-Tech Kit (PM Quad M for pricing)
4. 19" or 20" wheels
5. Angelibright for your angel eyes
6. Suspension (ie H&R sport springs or H&R Coilovers, etc..)

Dealer said I might have some issues with TPM if I don't get factory wheels. Any truth to this?

No. Plenty of e60s with aftermarket wheels. All that's needed is new valve sensors or maybe able to use from original tires.
