I just bought a 545i. I sold my e46 M3 and although I adore the car I must admit I miss extra power in M3! What is the best way to increase HP on my new 545i to somewhat match the acceleration of M3... or at least some extra power... please list some performance parts along with sites; stores where to get them. Also if you guys could list the performance increase with individual parts. Thanks!

its not the HP you need to increase, its the torque, thats what pushes you down the road.

Ehm... 545i is faster and more powerful than the M3 E46. Or surely not less. Even the 335i is faster than the M3.

I'd have to disagree! 545 has less HP but more torque, regardless its much heavier and in the end slower. Stats back it up like 0-60, quarter mile etc. Finally I've owned e46 M3 and i'm positive M3 is faster... As for 335i I agree it is faster!
