I was just speaking with BMWNA trying to find out of the Ipod interface would work with my pre-Sept 05 build.

No it will not.

But they did mention that the Ipod interface is on hold due to a technical glitch.

Interesting. All the info I've seen on this point says the ipod interface will work with build 03/05 and later.

Wrongo! I had my Ipod interface installed on a 6/05 build about 2 weeks ago and it functions just fine!

Any idea what the 'glitch' is?

Mine has glitches with a 05/06 build. Upon restart it always defaults to the main root instead of the Play list, Artist, or any of the other options. It is just another issue to live with......

I've got a summer '04 Bimmer, and no problems or glitches with the iPod interface here!

Could you provide the BMW part number(s) of all you need? Other then v23, Nav w/CDC and MP3 working.
