Well, I finally had an ipod interface installed after procrastinating for a month or so. I am still getting use to how to use it, so I can't comment too much on how I like it. One thing that is strange is the display on the idrive. In the CD menu, I expected it to display CD1, CD2, CD3, CD4, CD5, and CD6. Instead, it displays MP3-1, MP3-2 and so on. When it gets to MP3-5, it displays CD5 and it is dimmed so it can't be selected. CD5 is for podcasts, which I do not have any on my ipod. I will have to put one on the ipod to see if it changes CD5 to MP3-5 like the rest of the display.

Does anyone know if the MP3-1 type display is new? I thought I remembered reading that the display was CD1, CD2, etc. Maybe they have updated the interface.

By the way, they updated my car to Progman 25.01 for the install and for the TCU recall. My eyebrow lights still work and so far I have not noticed any problems with it. I just picked the car up last night, so I have had much time with it yet.
