Does the e60 have an ipod interface and where can i get one? does the dealer carry one and how much does it cost with installation?

Yes there is an iPod interface for the E60.

You can get one from Bavauto.com, Gary of Newport BMW with 25% off for E60.net members, or your stealership

Cost for installation varies A LOT, ranges from free to like $600. Best bet is to buy the part yourself, install it, and bring in the car for a software update only. The install is very easy and takes like literally 10 minutes to do. That would probably be your cheapest option, but again, the stealership prices for software update will vary.

There is the iPod interface that blinkme 210 described and there is an "aux" input interface. I am assuming you're interested in the iPod interface.

I will get the interface installed at the dealer next week & cost will be about $400 including parts & labour
