My car currently has an aux in (mini jack), located in the back of the center console (accessbilbe from back seats). If I buy and install the BMW iPod adapter which uses the flat connector on the bottom of the iPod, will the sound be any better? Also, I assume that the BMW adapater / interface will allow me to use the iDrive screen to see what's on the iPod. Is that correct?
Thanks
Thanks

Excellent! Thanks
Can anybody verify that p/n 65410415655 is what I want? Not sure if it matters, but I don't have a CD changer.

The part no. you have is for cars with the cd-changer or cd-changer prep, if you do not have cd-changer prep you will need a slightly different kit.
Pm your VIN. and I will check the ETK for the part no. for with out cd-changer prep and with cd-changer or cd-changer prep then you will need to look behind the glove box to check what you have,
