My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
BMW will start to offer internet connections to their cars starting next fall using the edge-technique.
The service will be available in September in Germany and for the rest of the Europe later on.
The Internet service will be included in the Connected drive package,
but the Internet use will cost about 15 Euros/month.
In the beginning the service is only providing updated road maps and travel services
but later on the service will include email and other internet pages.
BMW's own servers will transfer the data so it suites the iDrive screen.
It can be used in front if the cars travels slower than 5 km/h, but if one has DVD in the rear seats
it can be used anytime there.

Other solution: stop nearby a free hotspot / wifi & open your laptop
