I have the extended lights package, but with my all black interior, the door mounted LED's have very little effect.

They are much more effective on grey or beige interiors.

Does anyone know if it would be possible to change these LED's to higher intensity ones?

Thanks

True. I've noticed the same on mine.

with black interior the effect isn't great. changing the led's is a great idea, maybe experimenting with some other colours....

I took these 2 pics to try and show the LED's lighting the door handle and the door storage compartment. But as you can see the effect is very minimal, in fact I exaggerated it a bit through the exposure settings.

There is no doubt that higher intensity LED's would work, but we need someone who knows what the maximum current rating is for the wiring connected to the LED's. I don't want to burn holes in my doors

Perhaps there is a fuse rating that can be found for the lights package
