instructions needs for running cables from the front of car to the boo
#1
Hi there,
I was just wondering if someone has any kind of instruction manual for running cables from the front of the car to the rear of the car?
I.e. removing the door seals, back seats, and trim.
Anything would help.
Thanks.

from engine to trunk? or dash to trunk?
what about tucking the wire under the center console, and then run it under the carpet to the back seat. the back seat bottom comes up easy. just lift hard on the front edge. disconnect heat seat wires before you pick it up too much. then you should be able to get to trunk.

Well I need to get from the dashboard to the boot - but I can get to the back seat, and then I get stuck. I'm trying to follow the existing loom but the cable disappear behind the back rest and I can't see anyway of getting that out.
If that makes sense?

run it under the carpet along the side. pull the edge of the carpet up and the interior trim. try to remove the back seat, the seat/butt part. finish running the wire to the trunk. replace edge of carpeting and any removed trim. replace backseat.

I've got the Bum part of the seat removed, but there isn't any 'hole' to push the cable through. The existing wiring loom is up higher on the seat itself, and in-accessable from just removing the bottom part of the seat.
