After reading the DIY Interior Door Handel LED thread, I ordered the parts from getBMWparts.com.

Last week I received my parts from Tischer BMW, 4ea (63316929662)LEDs, and 4ea (63316928599) Housings.

I did the driver's door first, then the others. I am very impressed with the end result.

Here are some pics from the front passenger's door installation. At night the silver door handles glow with the orange light. I know this is a small mod, but was worth the time.

If you could take night shots that would be great! I saw that other thread as well, but wasn't sure the impact it makes.

Some E60s come with the Extended Lighting Package (I think that's what its called) which has these and door pocket lights. Also, I think all E60 M5's have them as well (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

Simon,
I tried to take some night shots last night with my cell phone, but where my interior is black, it doesn't show up very well on camera. I will charge up my good camera today and try again tonight with it.

I'm not sure about LCI cars. I don't think there is room behind the door handle to install these like there is on pre-LCI cars.
