My Ride: 2008 535i Options: Sports Pkg/ Premium Pkg/ Navigation/ USB(iPod) Mods: Tint (lolololol) any ideas? I LOVE THIS CAR!!! (WAAAAAYYYYY better than my previous MB E350, but quite a bit more expensive :( )

It'll make HP gains for the first 2 minutes. Once that engine gets a little warmer it'll be heat soak central.

I thought these types of intakes are ok for turbos, since they have an inter-cooler?

Open cone air filters make the best power on turbos since the air goes directly to the turbo itself. More air is always better.

Intercoolers cool the air from the hotside of the turbo that go back to the intake manifold.
