It's all personal preference. If you lower the car, you'll have to be more careful at bumps and such.

thanks guys... hmmm that's weird, my experience with Porsche the Eibach springs are more rough and the HR
are closer to stock ride..is it different with BMW's?

btw i dont have the TPM installed yet.. i have the annoying tpm sign on, what's up with not being able to disable the tpm
That's my setup with the generals. I highly recommend the spacers for the rear and the lowering springs. It still looks beautiful without, but the rear wheels look a little smaller without spacers.

Always have to remind everyone not to forget the TPMs. They can still take them off your old wheels (they just need to push your old tires aside to take the TPMs off). Or, you can buy new ones. Why not have the TPMs put on with the spacers and springs????

Enjoy the new wheels...

When I saw the photos I started looking through the thread to see if they were 17mm offsets or already had spacers. I thought they looked nice and wide.

As for lowering springs I vote yes.

I have the same set up, and I just had the car dropped with Hammann Springs (40mm RA, 20mmFA). The car looks great, ride quality is as comfy. Next mod will be adding 15mm Hamann Spacers for the rear.
