Cool, thanks. I did purchase an entire 'kit' from brabus about a year ago, and they are good and we're definately plug and play - they just don't seem bright enough. Also, can we upgrade the lights under the outside mirrors to LED?

Not sure what kit you bout from Brabus, howevever just an fyi, SMD are typically brighter than conventional LED, if thats what you have. As for the puddle lights under the mirrors, they are already LED, or at least mine is, but I believe all e60s are LED.

now T10's have the led's (or smd's whatever they are called) ALL the way around them, like 3 on each of 4 sides and maybe one on the end, right? How will these work under the doors? won't 1/3 of the light be shining up into the door? or do they make them with the led's all on one side only?

I have 4 of these under my doors. They have 18 SMD leds. They are full replacement modules. They also make these for the foot well and trunk areas.

Full replacements are expensive tho @ $25+ a pair

Bright as hell and cheap on Ebay. You have just to buy them from HK or China, but so cheap it really doesnt matter.

I agree, the smd leds will be bright for the foot well lights.

OEM is nothing. Those are 18 leds just on one piece. Much brighter.

A TON brighter and eBay. The cheapest I found were $25, but I seen them go far as much as $45... shop around.
