how about just painting your original trim gloss/flat black? depends sometimes it is cheaper by purchasing another set

Hi,

I've replaced my chrome kidneys with black ones, i ordered black kidneys and had them painted - only
the outer part - in carbonblack. costed about 200 ?, must say its looking good...

I wouldn't paint the inner part of the (certainly not the original chrome) kidney since this tends to flake off...

Enjoy your mod...

Bimmian grills are about twice as much as the ones on eBay. Anyone know why? How much is it from the dealer as OEM equipment?
