I'm gonna' go waaaaay out on a limb here and say that there is exactly zero benefit from any "ram" air kit, regardless of brand, at anything under high (very high) speeds.

YMMV,
Barry
What constitutes as "high (very high) speeds" in your mind?

I think we are about to witness another "scoop" "discussion".

Hi Barry,

The scoop actually does work. The scoop will pressurize the airbox rather than the airbox "sucking" in the air. So you are helping the air flow and craming air in the airbox. It's like a SUPER MINI turbocharger

PM me when your ready to purchase and you won't be disappointed

OK OK... I'll give you that if you remove a restrictive intake mouth and put one on that is less restrictive, you will see gains, at any speed, as you allow air in more readily. But unless you are well over 100MPH, I'd bet there are zero gains from any true 'ram air' effect, and if there are, they will be almost non-existent.

I didn't realize that this was one of "those" topics.

I'm done.

Not available on eBay (AFAIK), but you can order it from Trinity,

which spun off from my initial group buy for the V8s (545i/550i),
