I just installed a 6 disc Multi disc player in the glove box. It powers up and runs, but nothing. From the IDrive, doesn’t see it, run it, or can you get it it. Is there a trick to get the IDrive to run it. Or do I need the dealer to install software or upload something to make it work thru the IDrive. Please please help. I’m old school and really really like cds.

Was it installed before and you were just replacing it? If not it needs to be coded to show in iDrive.

1st thank you for the response, That is what I was thinking ( darn ) because that mean I have go to dealer. I do not have software for that. Yes. Or is there a way to do I at home
