I've been starting to offer to wrap interior trims. Did it on my buddies s2k, but not on an E60 yet.
I think it looks great, if you're going for that cf look, or trying to change it up.

My Ride: 04 545i sport, stick, L7, sat, nav. Charcoal/ runflat/ cdv delete.
Suede headliner/ trunk, 3 way front speakers, four 8" subs in rear shelf, ACM, iPod dock in ash tray using gateway 500 with MP3 text and video on screen, MRTM aluminum pedals/ door pins, 10 farad cap, sound processor, line conditioner, 2 amps ( 4x100 and 2x200)
Normally I would say the carbon fabric wrap is "ricey" but since BMW now offers carbon leather trim as an option I guess that carbon fabric is fair game.

I am lost. Not sure what that means...
Just to clarify I was just trying to say that BMW offers the carbon fabric trim as a factory option now so there is no need to worry about it being too ricey. Whoever wrapped this dash did a great job, you can see the carbon weave all lines up strait and there are no wrinkles or gaps. Good work

Thanks for clearing that up, I love Scarface but missed the reference.
After reading this I finally pulled the trigger and ordered the aluminum feinschliff trim kit ( brushed bright aluminum I hope ) from the dealer. I skipped parts 15 and 18 ( since the original panels are not woodgrain anyway ), but did include parts 10 and 12 as it seems they might be needed when retrofitting to the aluminum trim from the wood trim. The dealer asked me if I wanted the aluminum feinschliff or the aluminum anthrazit. They were the same price, but in the pics shown the anthrazit looked dull brown/ black. I went with the feinschliff.
