Eddie - when you losing that chrome trim and going with shadowline? with the conversion you've gone through, i'm surprised you still have the old chrome trim on the car.

LOL, I like factory chrome myself...(In fact BMW NA tells me chrome is an option for the Euro M5's).

You have to change strategy: I have my fogs on the car but I don't know where
Somewhere behind the bumper.
So no errors, no lights, etc.

Thanks one way of doing it, and that's cool too, but I just know there must be a way to de-program this RIGHT FOG LIGHT malfunction error message and its back-up system from Id'ing itself with the onboard Microsoft/BMW based idrive system, meanwhile I will live with the system check errors I suppose.

I took out my fog lights, and installed M5 brake air ducts in their place, and now when I check my engine, a warning light comes on and says: "Malfunction of Right fog light"
Of course because I took them out, (LOL), and I just wonder does anyone here at the forum ever experience this reading on their idrive when you took out your fog lights, and if so, how did you alleviate this Right FOG light Malfunction error from showing up on your idrive screen?
error on your idrive screen?
Thanks in advance!!

If you can position the fog lights in such a way that they actually light up the Air ducts using diffused lighting, I'm sure it will look super cool.
