Thumbs down

I took out my fog lights, and installed M5 brake air ducts in their place, and now when I check my engine, a warning light comes on and says: "Malfunction of Right fog light"

Of course because I took them out, (LOL), and I just wonder does anyone here at the forum ever experience this reading on their idrive when you took out your fog lights, and if so, how did you alleviate this Right FOG light Malfunction error from showing up on your idrive screen?

error on your idrive screen?

Thanks in advance!!

A way to keep the error off, is keep the bulbs plugged in and store them covered up somewhere in the bumper. I know its a little Ghetto but it will work

Or put some power resistors in, since you are you not going to switch the fog lights on the previous bulb idea is probably better.

Because I don't have fog lights no more because I had an BMW OEM M5 front bumper installed and have front brake fresh air ducts instead.

Did you need the increased cooling to the brakes because you now have the M5 brakes as well or was this just for aesthetics?

You have to change strategy: I have my fogs on the car but I don't know where
Somewhere behind the bumper.
So no errors, no lights, etc.

Eddie - when you losing that chrome trim and going with shadowline? with the conversion you've gone through, i'm surprised you still have the old chrome trim on the car.
