probably because they are lightweight and attractive with different offsets
id do a full m5 kit which is what im looking into right now actually to make look a bit different

I don't know the exact weights but I do not know the TE37s in 19s are around 18-20lbs and PTL mentioned the same numbers as well.

If you are going to run a JDM wheel, check out the Advan Racing RS. It's lighter and in my opinion, looks amazing.
